Kambam is the main offering to please Devi. Lakhs and lakhs of rupees received as offering from every corner of the world. On the first day of Malayalam months and on other important days Kambam is offered to Devi. On Meena Thiruvathira, after Devi takes out in procession the sky is set ablaze with fire works which is unique in the world. It is believed that the other gods celebrate the triumph of virtue by way of ceremonial splendour. Aalpindi Vilakku Ezhunnallethu (Procession of small structure made out of plantain kernel and germinating leaves of coconut tree with numerous lamps on it) by thousands of people is an important offering on Meena Thiruvathira. Devi's idol carved out of pure gold and rare precious stones (PONNIN THIRUMUDI) is taken out for darsan only on MEENA THIRUVATHIRA days. Ponnin Thirumudi is one of the most precious idol having incalculable value kept in a temple in Travancore area.
Para (offering of paddy grains) in front of Ponnin Thirumudi is also an important offering.

It is a ten days celebration hoisting flag on Kumbha Bharani day and downing on Ayillyam day. Richly adorned cultural processions make their way pompously through the village lanes, to the temple. There music, dance performance by popular artistes await enthusiastic crowds of lakhs. Also, a captivating dramatization (pechu) of the fierce battle between Bhadra kali and Darika is staged, soaring spirits further.

Women numbering to over lakh participate to cook customary offering to the deity on the last Sunday of the month of Makara (January-February). Girls whose marriage and jobs are delayed are very.particular about the offering and have an adamant belief in the Pongala offering.
